I'm starting to become pretty good friends with the guy that I've had a "crush" on for a while.

I hate the word 'crush', by the way. I mean, do people over the age of sixteen even have crushes? I just don't know what else to call it.

But I digress. We're becoming friends and it's kind of cool. Which makes me think that maybe I should squash all non-platonic feelings for him. Because he's great. And I wouldn't want anything to mess that up. He's the kind of person that one would want to keep around for a while. That says a lot for me, considering how much I can't stand people in general.

So, um, yay for awesome friends...I guess that's what I'm trying to say. They're just so damn hard to find.

But you're right. I probably shouldn't repress those feelings. Especially considering how rarely I am interested in anyone.
