be gone the dead weight

Why does youth nurture excess and age breed minimalism?

I don't mean generally. This is a study within myself.

my 2 cents... stuff is just not as important when you're older. health and family and the general well being of both is probably a heavy enough burden to bear without all that extra weight of STUFF.

I'm quickly becoming disillusioned with tangible stuff... and I'm somewhere in between young and old. so, yeah, I get it.

I can't say I've noticed that in myself but as they say, you do get wiser the older you get and just thinking back to how tragic everything was when I was a teenager, really says a lot.
"Stuff" just isn't all that important anymore. Priorities are made and all that other good adult-stuff that happens when you grow up.
